The AANLS invites proposals for a panel of papers on current research dealing with the world of Neo-Latin to be held at the meeting of the American Philological Association (APA) in Chicago in January, 2014. Our intent is to illustrate the diversity and richness of Neo-Latin Studies and to underscore the importance of research concerning the complex international phenomenon of Neo-Latin literature.
We welcome papers on all aspects of the study of literary, historical, technical and scholarly works written in Latin in the Renaissance and early Modern Period (to about 1800); we will also consider proposals dealing with more recent Neo-Latin.
